“Heart Bomb” a place you love
Heart bombing is a movement started by the National Trust for Historic Preservation of showing your love for a favorite piece of architecture with a big Valentine (or several). From now through Valentine’s Day, show some visible love for a favorite place by affixing a big Valentine on it. Share photos of your heart bombs on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter: #myPDXplace #IHeartSavingPlaces.
Pictured here is AHC Executive Director Stephanie Whitlock with dedicated volunteer Brooke Best heart bombing the Mayo House, a historic house in NE Portland that was recently saved and moved to a new location by artist Cleo Davis and his family, where it is envisioned as a space where historians, artists and members of the black community can preserve and create culture.
