The AHC is happy to share space in our historic West’s Block building with community groups when our program schedule allows. If you’re a nonprofit or have a community-based project and are interested in finding out about possible space availability, contact us with your ideas and timeframe.

OPEN NOVEMBER 17 – DECEMBER 31, 2022 – We are thrilled to be able to host and participate as a community partner in Ayotola’ki’ho, the Arawakan word for Interwoven. More than 3000 people have come together in the symbolic act of weaving themselves back into community. This interactive art installation built by and for specific cultural communities showcases the beauty of interactions and challenges us to be better community members and bridge builders. Participants are encouraged to add a colorful piece of yarn, colorful fabric or other items to a handmade loom, a visual representation of our connectedness. This participatory project led by artist a.c.ramírez de arellaño is on our 2nd floor hallway gallery from November 17 through the end of the year.

An artist reception will take place on December 17 from 3-5pm at the AHC. If you’d like to attend, please RSVP.
