In 1908 Edward Bruns began designing and fabricating stained glass windows and light shades in Portland. Bruns continued in Portland until 1917. Many windows attributed to Bruns are in the Arts and Crafts and Prairie Styles. The photo above shows similar lampshades as the one featured below which is on display in our front display window at the AHC as part of our current Illuminated Iridescence stained glass exhibit.
