CENTRAL EASTSIDE NEIGHBORHOOD
Portland’s Central Eastside neighborhood, which surrounds our center on Grand Avenue, is home to some amazing historic architecture. The East Portland/Historic Grand Avenue Historic District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991, and its historic buildings are now home to design and furnishing stores, maker spaces, IT and creative businesses, plus eats and drinks of all kinds!
Visit the AHC and spend part of your day touring what this neighborhood has to offer. You can pick up our guide to the history and architecture of the Central Eastside at the AHC or use this digital version to discover the past and explore the present of this district!
