ADVOCACY WATCH LIST

Our Watch List is designed to highlight locations of historical or cultural significance within our community that are facing threats, and to encourage public engagement in their preservation and adaptive reuse. Look for articles, tours, and programs related to these unique places in our e-newsletter. Placement on our Watch List is based on these criteria:

  • Historic or cultural significance

  • Located in Portland Metro Area

  • At risk of loss

  • Reasonable path for reuse or repurposing

  • Has community support and partners willing to engage


The public is welcome to submit a nomination which will be reviewed by the AHC’s Advocacy Committee and is subject to Board approval.
